Nova Scotia Premier Rodney MacDonald
In 2006, Rodney MacDonald, a young Cape Breton fiddle player and gym teacher, won the leadership of the Nova Scotia Progressive Conservative Party and became Premier of Nova Scotia. Rodney MacDonald had been Nova Scotia Tourism Minister since 1999.
